Trinity adds ophthalmologist to medical staff

Trinity Health has announced the addition of Robert Gokey, MD, to its medical staff.

Dr. Gokey is a board-certified ophthalmologist, fellowship trained in vitreoretinal surgery. He is qualified to provide diagnosis and treatment to patients with conditions affecting the retina and vitreous humor such as retinal detachment, age-related macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy.

As a Minot native, he earned his medical degree from the University of North Dakota and completed his ophthalmology residency at Ochsner-Louisiana State University Shreveport. He went on to accomplish a fellowship in vitreoretinal surgery at the University of Missouri. Gokey is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
